Nanaimo Model-airs Big Bird Fly-In
NANAIMO MODEL-AIRS SOCIETY
Location: Old Log sort area on Nanaimo Lakes Road.
Directions to field: At north side of Nanaimo River Bridge, turn onto Nanaimo River Road
(at Bungee jump sign) and travel about 30km (all paved road) to Timber West gate
($2 per vehicle day pass at gate into site).
Nanaimo Model-airs flying site is 1 1/2 km past gate on right see map
Details: Big Bird and ALL aircraft welcome ( sorry no Helicopters )
The area is a large paved site with NO Noise Limits.
Bring any size aircraft for a relaxed day of flying and fellowship
No Food so bring your own refreshments.

VICTORIA RADIO CONTROL MODELERS SOCIETY (VRCM)
Location: Michell Airpark on Lochside Drive
Directions to field: Turn East off Hwy 17 at Island View Rd,
right at the Michell's farm barn to Lochside and head .5km South.
Details: Come join the fun at our second annual Electric Fly-in in beautiful Victoria, B.C.
Bring your sport, scale, aerobatic or foamy electric out for a relaxed day of flying,
with a foamy fun fly in the evening.
MAAC required, noise limits in effect.

VICTORIA RADIO CONTROL MODELERS SOCIETY (VRCM)
Location: Michell Airpark on Lochside Drive
Details: "Victoria's Largest Little Airshow" for charity.
Only qualified pilots with Scale aircraft may fly at this event.
Aircraft inspections on Friday 15th 10am - 4pm.
Current FAI World Champion Quique Somenzini will be attending again at this year's show.
This is a must see show for the family.

Cowichan Lake Float Fly
VICTORIA RADIO CONTROL MODELERS SOCIETY (VRCM)
Location: Lakeview Park, Town of Lake Cowichan
Directions: Just north of Duncan. B.C. get on Hwy. #18 to the Town of Lake Cowichan.
A half kilometer past the Town turn right at the Lakeview Park sign. Follow "FLOAT FLY" signs.
Details: Join us for the 22nd Annual Cowichan Lake Float Fly mid-day Friday to mid-day Sunday.
Saturday dawn to dusk flying.
No entry fee but donations will go to the Nicole Stock Penny Drive.
Campsites with power and water are available.
Free Corn Lunch and Corn and Chile Dinner, Saturday (for pilots and significant other).
